Privacy Policy

Last updated August 16, 2026

This policy explains what Bet Bot collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the control you keep over it. Plain language, no dark patterns.

1. Who we are

Bet Bot is an odds-analytics tool operated by the Bet Bot team. We turn publicly available sportsbook odds into fair prices, bet structures and staking recommendations. We are not a sportsbook, we never place wagers on your behalf, and we never take custody of your betting funds.

2. Information we collect

Account data: your email address, display name, sign-in provider (email, Google or Apple) and the timestamp of your account creation.

Calibration data: the bankroll figure, unit size, risk preset, Kelly fraction, minimum edge and max-stake limits you enter, plus any saved risk profiles.

Activity data: recommendations you generate or save, watchlist entries, graded results, backtest runs and export requests.

Billing data: subscription tier, status and renewal dates. Card numbers are handled entirely by our payment processor — Bet Bot never sees or stores your full card details.

Support data: the name, email address and message content you submit through the support portal.

Technical data: basic funnel analytics events (signup, login, checkout, recommendation generated) and standard server logs used to keep the service secure and reliable.

3. How we use your information

To run the product: authenticate you, size stakes against your bankroll, generate recommendations, and keep your history and watchlist in sync.

To process subscriptions and give paying members access to premium features such as the backtest engine.

To answer support tickets you send us.

To measure aggregate funnel performance and improve the product. Analytics are reviewed in aggregate by administrators.

To protect the service against abuse, fraud and security incidents.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your bankroll, staking or wagering activity with sportsbooks, advertisers or data brokers.

4. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you (running the account and subscription), on the basis of our legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention, aggregate product analytics), and with your consent where consent is required.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors to operate: a managed cloud database and authentication provider for accounts and stored data, a payment processor for subscriptions, and our hosting provider. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function and is bound to protect it.

If you connect a third-party odds provider or exchange API key, that key is used only to fetch odds data for your account.

6. Data retention

Account, calibration and activity data are kept for as long as your account is open. Support tickets are retained for up to 24 months so we can track recurring issues. Billing records are retained as long as tax and accounting rules require. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records we must legally keep.

7. Your rights and controls

You can view and edit your profile, bankroll and risk settings at any time from the terminal, export your calibrated profile and recommendation history as JSON or CSV, and export backtest results as CSV or PDF.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Send any request through the support portal and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

Traffic is served over HTTPS with strict transport security and a restrictive content security policy. Data is stored with row-level access rules so each account can only read its own records; administrative access is limited to designated admin accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and enable your provider's two-factor authentication where available.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use first-party storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as your selected risk profile. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

10. Children and eligibility

Bet Bot is intended for adults who are legally allowed to wager in their jurisdiction — generally 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

11. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use Bet Bot after a change means you accept the updated policy.

13. Contact

Questions, requests or complaints? Open a ticket in the support portal and a human will get back to you.
