What does Bet Bot actually do?

Bet Bot reads real-time odds across sportsbooks, removes the bookmaker margin (the vig) to estimate a fair price, then looks for structures — line-shopping edges, middles, correlated legs and live hedges — and sizes each one against your bankroll using a fractional Kelly stake. It outputs the structure and the stake; you decide whether to place it.

Does Bet Bot place bets for me?

No. Bet Bot is an analytics terminal. It never connects to your sportsbook wallet, never places or settles wagers, and never takes custody of funds. Everything it produces is a recommendation you act on yourself.

Where do the odds come from?

From the odds provider you connect on the Ingest page. Bet Bot normalises each feed into a common snapshot format and archives it, which is what powers historical backtesting. Kalshi and other exchange connectors use the same ingestion layer.

How is the recommended stake calculated?

Each structure gets a fair-value probability from the devigged market, which produces an expected edge. That edge is turned into a stake with the Kelly criterion, scaled by your Kelly fraction (0.25x by default) and then clamped by your max-stake percentage, minimum-edge floor and any global ceilings an administrator has set.

What is a risk profile and can I have more than one?

A risk profile is the saved bundle of your Kelly fraction, minimum edge and max stake percentage. Start from the Conservative, Balanced or Aggressive presets, tune the sliders, then save, duplicate, rename, export or import profiles as JSON from the terminal.

Is the backtest real or a simulation of made-up data?

It is real. The backtest engine replays the historical odds snapshots stored in your archive and settles them against recorded event results, enforcing your bankroll, max-stake, stop-loss and daily-loss guardrails as it goes. If your archive is empty, there is nothing to replay — connect a provider on the Ingest page first.

How does the real bankroll figure work?

Your bankroll is starting capital plus realized profit and loss from graded results, not a number you type once and forget. Grade your slips on the History page and the terminal recomputes. You can re-sync at any time with the Refresh bankroll button.

The free tier gives you the terminal, manual odds lab and staking calculations. Sharp adds the full backtest engine, saved runs and exports. Syndicate adds higher ingestion volume and priority support. Compare them on the pricing page.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Open the pricing page while signed in and use the billing portal button. You can switch tiers or cancel there; cancellations stay active until the end of the paid period.

Which sign-in methods are supported?

Email and password, Google and Apple. All three land on the same account as long as they share an email address.

Yes. Export your calibrated profile and recommended structures as JSON or CSV from the terminal, and backtest results as CSV or a branded PDF from the backtest page.
